Red Wing Shoes, a popular work boot company, has teamed up with Nintendo to create a real-life version of Mario’s iconic boots from the Super Mario Bros. video game series. The boots, which are currently only available as a prototype, are made from durable leather and feature a reinforced toe box and rounded heel. The most unique feature of the boots is the mushroom-infused heel pads, which are a nod to Mario’s signature ability to jump high and stomp on enemies.
The Mario Boots were created to celebrate the release of the Super Mario Bros. movie. While the boots are not currently for sale, many fans of the Super Mario Bros. franchise are interested in getting their hands on a pair.
