Every designer has heard it at least once in their career from a well-meaning client or account manager: “Can you just make the logo bigger?”

Created by designer Andrew Wendling, Make the Logo Bigger is a hilariously satirical Tumblr project that takes this classic feedback to its most absurd, logical extreme.

The concept is simple yet brilliant. Wendling takes iconic, minimalist print ads, editorial layouts, and high-end graphic designs, and subjects them to the ultimate “client revision.” With every iteration, the featured brand’s logo grows exponentially—swallowing white space, trampling over carefully crafted typography, and eventually obscuring the entire layout itself.

It’s a clever piece of commentary on the eternal tug-of-war between aesthetic balance and commercial branding. By turning a ubiquitous industry trope into a running visual joke, Wendling gives creatives a collective place to laugh, vent, and celebrate the fine line between great design and total brand takeover.
