Let the good times roll with these ‘Sushi Sneakers’ ordered by Menulog, a food delivery service operating in Australia and New Zealand. The provider is also offering up a year’s supply of sushi for fans who love sushi enough to make the dash for it.
The Sushi Sneakers are handcrafted by Melbourne-based shoe customizer Damian Sim, more commonly known as BespokeIND. They’re deliciously reminiscent of a salmon maki roll, being wrapped in textured seaweed-like leather, with a generous serving of ‘salmon’ and a convincing ‘rice’ center.
There’s also a pair of chopsticks, secured by fishtail loops, and an emergency pouch for soy sauce.
Damian details that the entire foodwear was created from scratch, with the exception of the Nike midsole.
