Mawee Borromeo is an illustrator and graphic designer based in Manila, Philippines.
She takes a lot of inspiration from the Japanese shoujo aesthetic (heavily influenced by Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura growing up), Pop Art portraits, nature, and all things fashion and beauty.
Her choice of medium is usually digital, but she’s also grown a passion for painting recently, both watercolor and acrylic.
On weekends, you can find Mawee trying to fill up large canvases by painting, watching reruns of her favourite sitcoms, or enjoying an unhealthy amount of iced coffee.
