Edward Nonay is a designer and illustrator based in Manila, Philippines. He is the founder and creative director of Wall vs Crayon, a design studio that specializes in creating brand identities, logos, icons, brand strategies, visual systems, and illustrations for eco-conscious brands and institutions.
Edward is passionate about helping brands and institutions connect with their communities through design. He believes good design should be on point, distinctive, and enduring. He takes inspiration from works from the 1950s to the 1970s, a period when many designs were simple, functional, bold, and distinctive. Edward strives to bring the timeless design qualities of this era into his work.
In addition to his design work, Edward is also an avid hiker and thrift shop shopper. He enjoys spending time in nature and hunting for vintage treasures.
