Mary Imbong a Manila-based visual artist specializing in paper art. She makes paper quilling artworks inspired by pop culture, music, and day-to-day life, while also working on multimedia design from time to time.
Mary’s art story started with her drawing super cute fruits and vegetables back in the mid-90s when she was still in elementary school. It wasn’t until she got back from New York in 2014 when Mary started fiddling with some strips of paper and landed an awesome day job in an advertising agency shortly after. She worked hard by day and kept the creative momentum running by night when she would do her own versions of “paperwork.”
