Artist Kristian Koh has posted an entire gallery of Philippine city logos inspired by NBA team marks. Koh takes a distinctive feature associated with the city or province—a shoe for Marikina, a bilao of Pancit for Malabon, and an airplane for Parañaque—and mashes it with graphic design elements from NBA teams to create a distinctive new emblem.
“A different way to promote the places,” the designer wrote to introduce his gallery of logos on Facebook. “All Metro Manila cities plus select Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao cities/provinces.”
