Reva Diana is fascinated with human anatomy and drawing the figure from life. She seeks to ground her figure drawings with a solid foundation of anatomical knowledge. Her constant experimentation is both part of the creative process and also a way to avoid attachment. The more she explored, the more she draws on the dynamic play between chaos and order, between abstract and realism. Textured grounds provide the initial inspiration as more realistic forms emerge in the foreground.
