PARTNERSHIP TO END ADDICTION: Start With Connection

Partnership to End Addiction has launched the “Start with Connection” campaign to raise awareness about the importance of personal connection in addressing addiction. The animated broadcast public service announcements tell dynamic stories about the barriers addiction can create between family members – and the importance of beginning to close those gaps with empathy and understanding. The series of advertisements feature the song “Salt and the Sea” by Grammy-nominated band, The Lumineers, from “III”, a narrative album that explores the destructive impact of addiction in a family.

Partnership to End Addiction is a national nonprofit with a mission to transform how our nation addresses addiction by empowering families, advancing effective care, shaping public policy and changing culture. With decades of experience in research, direct service, communications and partnership-building, we provide families with personalized support and resources — while mobilizing policymakers, researchers and health care professionals to better address addiction systemically on a national scale.
