Sean Sonsona is a graduate of Multimedia Arts and Sciences at Mapúa University. A comic book artist who delves and illustrates surreal worlds which depict the struggles of humanity. His comic book anthology, “Cosmic Reaction”, has been published recently by an independent press.
Since 2016, Sean joined Adobe Design Achievement Awards (ADAA) in order to gain exposure in the industry. In ADAA 2017, he received honorable mention in the Fine Arts – Illustration category for his work entitled “The Crystallium Saga”.
Furthermore, Sean aspires to create a space for unconventional Filipino stories that can be conveyed through sequential art. He hopes to make the Philippines get recognized globally in the alternative comic book scene.
